Legal document service disclosures.
This page explains the limits of the legal document preparation division of Brewer Professional Services.
Legal document preparation only
Brewer Professional Services is not a law firm. Legal document services are provided to self-represented customers at their specific direction. The legal document provider does not act as an attorney, does not represent customers in court, does not provide legal advice, and does not select legal forms for customers.
Customer decisions remain the customer’s decisions
The customer is responsible for deciding what legal action to take, what documents or relief to request, what facts and terms to provide, and whether to obtain advice from an attorney. Document preparation begins after the customer supplies the directions necessary to prepare the requested paperwork.
Third-party charges
Court filing fees, recording fees, service-of-process charges, publication costs, certified-copy charges, and other third-party expenses are separate unless a written service agreement expressly states otherwise.
No guarantee of outcome
Document preparation does not guarantee that a court, agency, recorder, creditor, opposing party, or other person will accept a filing or produce a particular legal outcome.
